The Shelburne Fire District was established under MGL Chapter 48 as a separate municipal entity, separate and distinct from the Town of Shelburne.
The District is administered by a Prudential Committee elected by the voters of the District.
Prudential Committee members are: James Wholey, George Dole, Joseph Palmeri
District Treasurer: Angelina Bragdon
District Clerk: Joseph J. Judd
District Accountant & Administrator for the Prudential Committee: Martha Wholey
District Assessors: Assessors of the Town of Shelburne
The annual meeting of the Fire District is held on the last Tuesday of April. The Prudential Committee meets periodically throughout the year. All meetings are posted and open to the public.
